Paintings by award-winning international fine artist, painting instructor and exhibition juror Anthony Whiting
In all courses, students learn a method of painting where successful results are likely regardless of past experience or level of expertise.
Topics to be covered include two most important considerations: composition and choice of colors. Other items include importance of the center of interest, values/tones, paint transparency and opacity, a variety of brush strokes, glazing, under-painting and textures. Drawing skills are not required.
Anthony’s objectives in teaching are to ensure that each student gains all required knowledge, skills, competency and confidence in painting to successfully complete paintings of numerous different types.

Included will be new techniques of painting with acrylic paints, simplified color theory, how to choose the most desirable and impactful color schemes, the importance of good composition, painting demonstrations with acrylic paints, one-on-one coaching, learning by doing and informational handouts.
